Manitowoc Weekend Dental Assisting School will operate a dental assistant training program from The Smile Clinic, S.C., in Manitowoc, WI. In using a fully equipped, state of the art dental facility for educational purposes, students will have a safe environment conducive to using, hearing and interacting with a dental office as the entire facility will be accessed by the students for learning purposes. The program will prepare dental assistant students for entry level positions within today’s dental offices by giving them full exposure to modern materials which include Cerec same day crowns, intraoral cameras, digital radiography, oral sedation procedures, nitrous oxide relaxation techniques, and general patient comfort during the delivery of all types of dental treatment.

The classes will be structured to eliminate congestion and waiting in line to use equipment, while at the same time allowing a large enough number of students to sustain the profitability of the school. With a teacher to student ratio of 1:5, the course is designed to allow for dividing classes into smaller groups for hands on participation during the clinical portion of the educational sessions.
