River Flow Yoga, LLC is a 200 hour yoga teacher training school for yoga practitioners who wish to deepen their knowledge and practice, for aspiring and beginning level teachers, for health professionals and educators who wish to integrate yoga into their professions, and for experienced yoga teachers who have trained in other lineages. River Flow offers individuals the opportunity to study yoga in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya, TKV Desikachar and Gary Kraftsow. Mary Hilliker, RDN, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, Lead Teacher, trained with Gary Kraftsow of the American Viniyoga Institute. The program is an independent study program with a combination of in-person, online live, and self-paced modules. Students can start anytime and pace their studies to fit their schedule. Students work with faculty/mentors throughout the program for questions, asana clinics, teaching practicum, and homework review. Those who complete the program are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance for the RYT-200 credential. In addition, the school offers a 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training for students who have completed a 200 hour program to qualify students for registration with Yoga Alliance at the RYT-500 level.

River Flow is committed to training teachers who can work with all ages and can adapt to a variety of individuals, groups, and settings. The River Flow program provides a concentration in yoga teachings which are most important for yoga teachers seeking employment in a community setting. Core program teachings include: importance of and how to establish a personal practice, yoga teaching methodology, biomechanics of the most commonly used asanas, sequencing, adaptation to the individual, introduction to pranayama, meditation and chanting, Yoga philosophy, and select teachings from the Yoga Sutra-s of Patanjali.

The River Flow Yoga Teacher Training is a Registered School approved by the Yoga Alliance to offer training at the 200 hour level (RYT-200) and 300 hour level (for RYT-500).
