Mission

Recording Radio Film Connection & CASA Schools is dedicated to providing career-focused, post-secondary educational programs that are structured for online delivery with an industry focused externship to serve our diversified student population. Students are prepared for professional opportunities and career success in the fields of recording, radio, film and culinary arts.

History & Educational Focus

Recording Radio Film Connection & CASA Schools uses a faculty/mentor/externship approach to teaching. Instead of teaching students in traditional classrooms alongside 30-200 other students, we send our students into private places of business to learn one-on-one in a real-world environment, intricate aspects of the fields of audio engineering, filmmaking radio, broadcasting and culinary with industry professionals. Externships are across American is many major cities. Local externships provide the student with the experience of working and learning from an industry professional. The Online education was designed to couple with daily activities within the place of business. Students are provided a formalized orientation prior to beginning the program and will meet their assigned mentor. The school started teaching students using this methodology in Radio Broadcasting in 1983 with founder and President James Petulla.
