WyoTech was established back in 1966 and has undergone several changes since its inception but has always been dedicated to quality career-oriented education in the automotive, diesel, and collision/refinishing,fields. Through the use of industry-based advisory committees, employed graduate contacts, and faculty/industry interactions, WyoTech continually upgrades and modifies programs to enhance each graduate's employability. Throughout the years WyoTech had campuses located in other states but due to ownership change those campuses located outside of Wyoming were closed on June 30, 2018. As of July 2, 2018 the WyoTech campus in Laramie, WY is the only campus to remain open.
WyoTech's primary objectives are to impart specific knowledge and skills, to graduate each and every student who begins training, and to place them in their chosen fields. In order to achieve these objectives, the curriculum, the faculty and staff, and the facilities and learning environment become equally important.
Our typical student population is comprised of 18 to 19 year olds with some non-traditional students. A High School diploma or recognized equivalent such as the GED is required for admittance.
